PROMOTE has been highlighted in three new European Commission publications showcasing Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) and their contribution to high-quality, innovative vocational education and training (VET) across Europe.

We are pleased to announce that PROMOTE has been featured in three newly released European Commission publications dedicated to Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs). These publications recognise the role of CoVEs as a flagship European initiative to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) through excellence, innovation, and cooperation, linking education and training providers with businesses, public authorities, and wider community stakeholders in responsive skills ecosystems.

European Commission publications featuring PROMOTE

The European Commission has published the following CoVE-related releases:

1. Unlocking Potential: A Spotlight on Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence

This publication showcases CoVE projects across Europe and includes PROMOTE as an example of innovation in training and skills development.

2. Advancing European Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE): An Analysis of Erasmus+ Projects

This report analyses Erasmus+ CoVE projects and their contributions to skills ecosystems, cooperation models, and VET modernisation.

3. CoVE Case Studies

A dedicated collection of case studies presenting concrete CoVE approaches, results, and practices across sectors and countries.

Together, these publications highlight how CoVE projects contribute to European skills priorities by supporting modernised VET provision, lifelong learning opportunities, and collaboration models that strengthen regional capacity and sectoral resilience.

How PROMOTE is highlighted

Across the publications, PROMOTE is presented for its work supporting professionals in the justice and correctional sector through flexible and modular training formats and a competency-based approach that prioritises practical, job-relevant skills. The project is also recognised for contributing to stronger cooperation between stakeholders and supporting pathways such as micro-credentials and the recognition of learning outcomes.

Significance for PROMOTE and the wider CoVE community

Being featured in these European Commission publications represents an important recognition of PROMOTE’s contribution to the CoVE community and to European priorities in skills and training. It reinforces the relevance of competency-based and modular learning approaches in complex professional environments and highlights the value of cross-sector cooperation for sustainable workforce development.

We would like to thank all PROMOTE partners and stakeholders for their commitment and collaboration, which have made it possible to deliver meaningful outcomes and to demonstrate PROMOTE’s value within a broader European context.
