The European Basic Skills Network (EBSN) and the PROMOTE project are delighted to invite you to an insightful webinar exploring vocational excellence and professional development in the justice sector – with valuable insights applicable across various multi-organizational collaborations supporting vulnerable groups.

About the PROMOTE Methodology

The PROMOTE project has developed a co-production methodology designed to foster effective collaboration among professionals working towards the social and community inclusion of people with lived experience of detention. This methodology enhances shared understanding, promotes joint responsibility, and strengthens cooperation between educators, professionals working in the justice system, counsellors, employers, and support organizations.

At the core of this approach lies a range of competence profiles, defining the skills and professional roles essential for stakeholders working in the correctional ecosystem. These insights extend beyond the justice system and provide a replicable framework for professionals working with other vulnerable groups, such as NEET youth, migrants, or long-term unemployed adults.

Why Should You Attend?

  • Gain first-hand insights into the PROMOTE co-production methodology and its potential application in different adult learning and social inclusion contexts.
  • Learn how vocational excellence can be embedded in adult learning initiatives for learners with justice system experience.
  • Participate in hands-on discussions about professional roles and competencies, reflecting on your own practice.
  • Engage with experts across adult education, justice, and employment sectors, exploring ways to bridge policy and practice.

Who Should Join?

This webinar is highly relevant for:

  • Adult education professionals and trainers
  • Policy-makers and stakeholders in upskilling initiatives
